I was born in Palermo, Sicily.
After studying Psychology at the University of Palermo, in 1993 I moved to London where I deepened
my interest in photography by studying Photojournalism.
Following my diploma in Photojournalism in 1995 I started to freelance for various Italian
magazines including Sette Corriere della Sera and working in connection with Camera Press a London
based photo-agency, covering for them local events as well as international feature.
My work has been shown in galleries in Palermo, Milan, Turin, Bologna, Munich, Edinburgh.
Some of the magazines where my photographs have been published include: The
Guardian/Observer, The Independent, The Sunday Herald, The Telegraph.
I'm based both in London and Palermo, traveling extensively around the world, I'm always
available for commissions work.
